Types and growing methods of orchid

Gardening is thought to be easy, but in reality, it is an art in itself. Decorating a garden with varied types of orchid may be a unique way to enhance the beauty of the front yard. During gardening, use of the orchids can be effective to increase the aesthetic beauty of a place. While gardening and growing orchid plants, it may be kept in mind that there remains a different type of orchids and no hard and fast rules can provide any guidelines for proper nurture of these plants. But the conventional way of protecting these plants can enhance better growth. Knowledge of their genetic can help to grow orchids in a better way. During gardening the hybridizer should have certain pre-defined goals in mind. There are several conventional guidelines which truly help in growing orchid in a better way. Parent flowers must have been on the plant long enough to be well grown, although the flower on the pod parent may mature extra after crossing. In any case, if the pollen flower has not matured, the crossing will be germ-free (Fertilized).

After pollination, the orchid plant should be dried out a little bit and removed to a better sheltered place of the greenhouse. In case of any phosphorus deficiency, immediate care and caution should be taken for supplementary feeding. During the process of gardening, microscopic study can steadily define the fertility process. This helps to keep a track of the progress. Sterilization process with three percent solution of Hydrogen Peroxide can be very good for the Orchid?s growth. Small tubes may be used for better protection of the seeds. Selection of the type of orchid is highly essential. For outdoor garden decoration or indoor decoration, orchids can be effectively used for beautification. Few types of orchids are extremely beautiful and are widely in use. Cymbidiums orchid include around 44 species, the large flowered types which come from the higher regions of the Himalayas and the orient require cool conditions to bloom well. Vanda has 50 species; many hybrids are also derived from it. These types of orchids grow best in hanging wooden baskets. Dendrobiums do have more than 1000 species and they are widely grown. Phalaenopsis is considered as moth orchid and they are cultivated across Philippines, South East Asia and further down in Queensland, Australia.Miltonia's are often called the Pansy Orchid, in Brazil, these orchids are greatly popular.

Perfume is the specialty of Miltona. Actually orchids are amongst most highly prized ornamental plants; subtle use of orchids in gardening process can make the gardens more and more beautiful. Flowers consist of three sepals and three petals. In general all orchid plants require humidity from 40% to 60%. For using orchids while gardening, fertilization should be done regularly. Regular watering is necessary but all depends upon the weather conditions. In case of much rain, watering has to be kept low. The supply of light depends upon the species, so a green house should be kept well aware about the lighting. Whenever it is required to put the plant in the pot, methods must be followed to prevent the damage of the plant. Re-plantation often can be risky. While gardening, the temperature should be kept favorable for the better growth of these plants.
